FOUNDING & EARLY YEARS (2004-2010)

Katch Environmental was established in 2004 by Paul Katchadourian, a military veteran and visionary entrepreneur driven by a commitment to providing exceptional mold remediation services. Initially specializing in addressing mold-related issues, the company swiftly gained recognition for its expertise and dedication to ensuring healthier indoor environments for residential and commercial spaces.

As a certified Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE), Katch Environmental began evolving and expanding its services while upholding its core values of integrity and customer commitment.

Expansion (2010-2015)

Driven by a passion for excellence and a commitment to meeting evolving client needs, Katch Environmental expanded its service offerings to include lead and asbestos abatement. This strategic expansion allowed the company to diversify its portfolio and establish itself as a comprehensive solution provider in environmental remediation services.

Concurrently, the company ventured into HAZWOPER (Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response) services, further solidifying its position as a leader in the field.

Growth (2015-2020)

The success and reputation gained from our expertise in environmental remediation prompted the company to consider broader horizons. Leveraging our experience and commitment to safety, Katch Environmental transitioned into the realms of General Engineering. We invested in a fleet of vehicles and heavy construction equipment, enabling them to undertake larger projects spanning commercial, residential, and public sectors. A skilled team and cutting-edge resources enabled Katch Environmental to undertake projects such as demolition, clearing, and grubbing of the 60-mile segment of the California High-Speed Rail for Construction Package 2-3 as well as excavation, removal, and restoration of 15 miles of abandoned utilities for the California High-Speed Rail Construction Package 1.

Diversification (2020-Present)

However, our dynamic company didn’t stop there. With a growing portfolio and a skilled workforce, the company ventured into the realms of General Contracting and thus Katch General has been born. From school buildings fostering future generations to police stations ensuring safety and churches nurturing faith, we lend our expertise to projects that matter to our communities.

Future Outlook

Katch Environmental – Katch General transformed from a mold remediation company into a multifaceted construction powerhouse. Our services include mold, lead, and asbestos abatement and hazardous materials (hazmat) services. Moreover, our capabilities extend to demolition, excavation, including underground storage tank (UST) removal, roll-off trucks, water trucks, and well drilling. Complementing our proficiency in environmental solutions, we excel in the art of building construction, where we leverage our experience to erect structures that meet the highest standards of durability, functionality, and innovation.
